Long Beach Fresh, St Luke’s Teaching Garden, and a few eager community members are excited to bring the third monthly produce exchange to Central Long Beach! This time, we honor the values of Martin Luther King Jr on the night of the holiday.

Crop swaps are a great way to get connected within your community while at the same time increasing the number of fruits and vegetables in your diet.

We invite the community to share backyard and garden grown produce and herbs at this free community event. Neighbors who do not have home-grown produce to share are also welcome to attend the event, as it’s a great chance to chat with local backyard growers and community gardeners about growing food in Long Beach.

The monthly swaps occur on the third Mondays of the month, 6-7pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s Teaching Garden on Atlantic between 7th and 8th St,
with free parking in the church’s lot on Atlantic.
